Features of the Digitizer
Optical type pulse scales are used on the X and Y axes. This results in a minimum readout unit of 1/100 mm which provides adequate measuring accuracy.
The projection screen is 300 mm in diameter and the projection maginification is 10x, resulting in an easy-to-view image. This enables even fine patterns to be measured with a high degree of accuracy.
The table is connected to a ball circulating type slide, enabling it to be operated smoothly by hand. Also, fine adjustment can be performed by means of a handle, permitting precise measurement.
Because the Digitizer performs optical measurement, there is no physical contact with the mounting surface. Consequently, the Digitizer can also be used for measuring mounting accuracy of components.
Data Processing The measured coordinate data obtained using the DT-II is stored in the MCS-16 supervisor computer. By simply inputting the data for the components to be used, the program can be automatically generated. This enables the data inputting tme to be greatly reduced.
